Our NAUTOR’S SWAN Newport and New York sales offices are locations from which we represent the superb SWANLINE sailing yachts by NAUTOR of Finland, builder of the legendary SWAN Yachts since 1966. Acting as an Agent for NAUTOR’S SWAN, our areas of prime marketing responsibility include, but are not limited to, both the East Coast and the Great Lakes region of the Midwest of the United States and portions of Canada as well. Our outstanding positioning and facilities deliver the best sales access and exposure to the major metropolitan areas in the East and the Midwest that results in superior service for our SWAN clients.

Now comprising the largest and most significant sales territories in the world for NAUTOR of Finland, our Newport and New York NAUTOR’S SWAN Agency sales personnel and support staff have been successfully entrusted with the marketing and sales for both our new construction SWANLINE Yachts as well as our clients’ pre-owned SWAN yachts.

Commencing in the mid-1990’s, NAUTOR of Finland developed and launched the first of the advanced new German Frers designs, the very successful SWAN 60. Now with a build capability and available designs ranging up to 160’ LOA, these fine NAUTOR’S SWAN yachts have revolutionized the yacht building industry as to modern standards for quality and performance expectations. In order to more effectively promote the sale of these larger and more sophisticated SWANLINE yachts in the key marketing areas of the United States our SWAN Agency locations are in Stamford CT (“New York”) and we have just commissioned our new Newport RI office in 2005!

Steve Barker is the Executive Vice President of Sales for Nautor's Swan USA. Steve leads the Swan sales team that supports the key American markets ranging from Florida to Maine and parts of the West as well. Steve and his team offer Nautor clients a wealth of experience and information garnered from over 30 years in the custom yacht industry and with Nautor's Swan.

Steve was recruited by NAUTOR in 1995 from his prior position as president of a major and well-regarded American yacht building company. The primary mission was to fulfill the objective of taking NAUTOR's sophisticated new German Frers designed SWANLINE cruising and racing yacht concepts from 45' to over 150' LOA to the marketplace. Accordingly, Steve has also been instrumental in the advance work for the concept and product development for the very successful SWAN 56, SWAN 82RS, SWAN 62RS, SWAN 70 and SWAN 45 programs that have lead to numerous sales of these fine yachts by ourselves and other SWAN Agents worldwide.

For over three decades now, Steve has sold to satisfied clients and has generated a loyal following who appreciate the indispensable expertise and energy that he devotes to all his client's new SWAN yacht construction and post-sales operations. Steve's extensive sailing experience includes his ocean racing credentials skippering eight Newport to Bermuda races, the 1989 Fastnet Race and major successes that include class wins in the prestigious Fastnet, Bermuda and Mackinac events. Heading up the SWAN NEWPORT office, Steve is readily available to all our SWAN clients, past, present & future at the superb Newport Shipyard facility in downtown Newport, Rhode Island.

Operating out of our SWAN NEW YORK office, Kevin Dailey is the one of the most successful SWAN salesman worldwide. In fact, Kevin has sold and delivered more of the hot new SWAN 45's than all the other Agents & Sales Representatives combined! Kevin was our SWAN NEW YORK office project manager for the superb SWAN 82RS/006 and has just signed a client for a new SWAN 62RS to be delivered in 2006. Kevin's involvement helps an outstanding environment for the ultimate enhancement of his new SWAN projects while working directly with his clients, the NAUTOR yacht project manager and equipment suppliers.

Kevin's years of experience in the sailmaking industry (where he was a top producer and managed his own loft) and in-depth racing background provide real benefits to his clients. Kevin has thereby proven to be of invaluable assistance to his clients setting up their new SWAN's so that they are efficient and fast. As a related detail, Kevin's SWAN 45 clients have won every major class event they have entered. Matching a very thorough product knowledge and sailing ability, Kevin's evident talent has been the ability to properly matching the needs of his clients with the proper SWAN model .. and then showing the new Owners how to get the most out of their new SWAN acquisition!

Kevin has a wealth of knowledge that he is able to share with his clients. He is also an avid world-class marine photographer. After opening, and operating for nearly seven years, the Nautor’s SWAN office in Annapolis, MD, Keith was asked, in 2006, to join the sales team at Nautor’s Swan head office in Newport, RI. Here, Keith continues to work with his customers who are interested in the SWAN line of yachts, both new and brokerage, as well as the larger custom and semi customs SWANs, all the way up to the Swan 131 and beyond.

A professional yacht builder and yacht broker for nearly 30 years, Keith was recruited by Nautor’s SWAN in the 1990’s because of his superior professionalism and his personal and business qualifications.

A native of England, Keith is a world championship level sailor and he was selected for the English Team to compete in the 1989, J24 World Championship. His considerable sailing credentials also include being a watch captain in the 1985 Fastnet Race on the class winning SWAN 46. Including the Newport to Bermuda Race, the Swan Worlds in Sardinia and various Caribbean regattas, Keith has also sailed in other significant racing and cruising events in the United States and abroad on many of the more recent SWAN models from 44’ to 112’ LOA. So Keith can speak with authority on what it takes to make a SWAN perform to her design standards.

Racing with his clients, on their winning Swan 112 and Swan 70, and cruising with his customer on the first Swan 46 sold into the United States, Keith is at the cutting edge for both the SWAN line of “performance” and “cruising” yachts! Keith is a great asset for our clients who are seeking to acquire a new SWAN or a pre-owned SWAN for delivery anywhere in the world.

Diana is the Executive Assistant for Sales & Marketing for NAUTOR'S SWAN USA and is based out of our SWAN NEW YORK office. Diana is no stranger to the world of yachting and has been involved in the yacht sales and brokerage business for almost twenty years now! Overseeing our marketing, financial, and brokerage operations along with assisting with the sales and day-to-day activities for all of our offices, Diana is also deeply involved with the organizational planning for other major SWAN-related events.  In the US this includes the ROLEX SWAN AMERICAN REGATTA in Newport , Rhode Island, the ACURA KEY WEST GOLD CUP for the SWAN 45 Class this past January, the CLUBSWAN CARIBBEAN RENDEZVOUS in the British Virgin Islands , and the upcoming BICENTENNIAL NEWPORT TO BERMUDA RACE this June in which close to 50 SWANS will be participating. She is actively involved with other events overseas.

Raised in Marblehead, MA, Diana has a distinguished lineage of yachtsmen.  An accomplished sailor in her own right, Diana's experience began at an early age on the race course with the hotly-competitive... especially in the Marblehead area... Lightning Class and frostbiting venues. While Diana was Assistant to the President at Wheelock College in Boston , she ran the Ladies Sailing Program at MIT in Tech Dinghies. More recently, she has won the Chaperone Trophy for Ladies Sailing twice at Indian Harbor Yacht Club in Greenwich.

Diana lives in Wilton , CT with her husband, John, an Admiralty Lawyer and Class Secretary of the Etchells Class. Diana and John's daughter, Barnet, is also involved with sailing and assists Diana at some of our SWAN events. Our organization is materially enhanced by this sailing family and our clients have come to rely on Diana for her able assistance ... virtually anytime and anywhere!
